Overview

The VJ-TH [L] Fixture Pin is a high-performance fastening solution designed as a direct alternative to conventional welds and bolts for attaching materials to structural steel. Purpose-built for demanding onshore, shipbuilding, and offshore plant environments, it delivers reliable, advanced grating fixation without the limitations of traditional fastening methods.

 

 

Design & Construction

The VJ-TH [L] series is manufactured as a forged, one-piece integral unit with a self-tapping thread profile. During installation, the fastener is driven into a pre-drilled pilot hole, cutting its own internal mating threads directly into the base material — eliminating the need for separate nuts, inserts, or backing hardware.

 

 

Installation Requirements 

 

▶ Suitable for base material thickness ≥ 6.0 mm or ≥ 8.0 mm (model dependent)

▶ Requires a pre-drilled pilot hole — no through-penetration of base material
▶ No back-side surface rework or protective coating repair required
